AHEAD 4.0 – Growing Together
Two days filled with dialogue, fresh inspiration, and genuine appreciation—that was our AHEAD 4.0 at the beautiful Fritz Lauterbad.
With a group of twelve participants, we kicked off the first day in a relaxed atmosphere with muesli and a good cup of coffee. After the welcome, we dove right into a special highlight: our appreciation circle. One person sat with their back to the group, while everyone else shared only positive qualities, strengths, and words of praise. It was a moment that not only gave us goosebumps but also demonstrated once again just how important mutual recognition is within our team.
Before our midday coffee break, teamwork was called for once again. Together, we faced the challenge of transferring 100 balls from one basket to another. We weren’t allowed to pass the ball directly to the person next to us. Before each pass, the ball had to be in the air for a brief moment. After two practice rounds, a lot of coordination, and intense communication, our team developed the optimal technique to complete the task as successfully as possible. An exercise that once again demonstrated how important collaboration and finding solutions together are.
After a delicious bowl for lunch, we not only recharged our bodies but also strengthened our team spirit. In a group challenge, we had to build a tower using wooden sticks—an exercise in which communication, trust, and teamwork were crucial.
Of course, our now-traditional SWOT analysis was also a must. Together, we looked at our strengths, challenges, opportunities, and risks, and openly discussed what we can do even better in the future. It is precisely this honest exchange that is a valuable part of AHEAD every year and the foundation for our continuous growth as a company.
In the early evening, we set off together for a cozy cabin. Over a drink, a beautiful walk, and dinner together, we wrapped up the day in a relaxed atmosphere.
After breakfast together the next morning, our final feedback session was on the agenda. Everyone had the chance to share their impressions, offer ideas, and reflect on two intense days.
As is the case every year, time flew by far too quickly. This makes the feeling of having grown together and returning to our daily work full of new motivation all the more wonderful. We’re already looking forward to AHEAD 5.0—and to many more moments together in which we’ll continue to develop not only our company but also ourselves.
